Raise a pint and support the Yakima Valley Mushroom Society!

Join us for an evening of local mushroom science and fall fungi. YVMS is moving its Monday night meeting to Thursday this month and inviting the public to join in! Our featured presenter, Claire Carpenter, is a Biology Instructor at Yakima Valley College. She will share research she conducted with YVC students exploring the relationship between the toxicity of morels and lorchels, and rocket fuel. 

We’ll also enjoy a short presentation on local fall mushrooms—what’s popping up this season and what features to look for. 

From 2 p.m. to close, proceeds from every dine-in pint sold will benefit the Yakima Valley Mushroom Society!!
