Anna Conley has been marveling at mushrooms since the age of four when she first roamed the woods of Eastern Oregon foraging for morels. This interest was further solidified when after graduation from A.C. Davis High School in 2016 , she stopped by the North American Mycological Association's Annual Foray in Cable, Wisconsin on her way to start college in Northfield, Minnesota. While at Carleton College, she was awarded a travel fellowship from the Thomas J. Watson Foundation to pursue her passion of exploring mushrooms across cultures and continents. After several years of delay due to COVID, she was finally able to complete this adventure in 2023-2024, spending varying amounts of time in Czechia, The Netherlands, England, Chile, and India. Join Anna as she brings you along on her adventures.
