We tried to get a more interesting guest speaker, but everyone else was booked. So, out of desperation and sheer panic - we asked for the return of Skip from Skip’s Shrooms… and thank goodness… he said yes!

Skip’s Back!

Many of you have had the opportunity to watch his presentation over the last couple years. This year, he’s back with more Tall Tales and Mushroom Hunting advice - aimed at the novice mushroom hunter - and entertaining for the experienced foragers as well. Along with his special guest, Skip will undoubtedly get you excited for the upcoming Spring Forage Season!

Skip Payne has made a bit of a reputation for himself in the Mushroom Hunting Community as that “lone wolf guy who disappears into the woods for a few hours and comes out with monster hauls of mushrooms.”

Skip’s passion for fungus evolved into “Skip’s Shrooms” - a Popular Mushroom Seasoning and Mushroom Hunting Outfitter company. His entire line of all 6 blends will be available for tasting and purchase if so desired, along with his new line of Mushroom Hunting bags and Mushroom Hunting Knives.

This is also our election meeting. We will be voting for

Free to current members or $5.00 for guests. This meeting is in person only at the Yakima Area Arboretum. 

Doors open at 6:30 PM. We encourage you to register online ahead of time. Room at the event is limited. Member check-in and guest tickets may be available at the door if seats are available.
