Great news! YVMS will be hosting their first in-person meeting since the COVID-19 shutdown. Note: This event will also be available online via Zoom.
Jim Christensen, our resident mushroom expert, will be giving a presentation on fall mushrooms. Come learn about which fall mushrooms are edible and which to avoid.
This meeting will be held at the Yakima Area Arboretum in the Gardenview room.
Doors will open at 6:30 PM. Meeting will begin at 7:00 PM to briefly discuss YVMS business, followed by the presentation. Door prizes and raffles will be available.
The safety of our members and guests are our first priority. Please be aware:
-- Seating is limited to 50 people in-person
-- Masks are required
-- If you are not vaccinated or do not feel safe enough to attend in-person, please stay home and enjoy the meeting and program via Zoom. We thank you for your cooperation.-- We are continuing to monitor the increase of COVID-19 cases locally and may need to make adjustments to the in-person meeting. Please verify safety measures closer to the date of the event.
